Our client is recruiting for a Risk Director to head their investment risk team. This role will see you overseeing an experienced team of analysts and you will be reporting directly to the board in an advisory capacity.
You will also have responsibility utilising risk data and using it to inform Portfolio Managers and Senior Executives in the firm about proximity to risk limits, validating strategies, and oversight of risk and regulatory reporting both internally and to regulators.
To be successful in this role you should have experience with calculating value at risk, addressing tracking errors, and performing stress testing and back testing. You will oversee the analysts responsible for these tasks in this firm but must speak to the results first hand.
